We've arrived!!!!!
We have finally arrived in Bangkok! ...

...After an extremely eventful day.

Our flight was delayed an hour, the turbulence was tough, Tham Fuan puked after the flight, Edwina suffered motion sickness and almost puked too! We arrived at the hotel after Nelson & Maryanna & Khan (Youth With A Mission workers) picked us up from the airport. We dumped our bags in our rooms and ran (literally) to the hotel restaurant which - thank God - was open until 11.30 PM (Bangkok time). We ended up eating our AUTHENTIC pad thai & tom yum soup for dinner at about 3 AM Melbourne time. We had the pleasure of Uncle Steven joining us for dinner.

We then showered and enjoyed a great night's sleep at the AVANA Hotel. We woke up to find Tham Fuan and Tong was talking to Uncle Steven until 3.30 AM (Bangkok time), then woke up to take a walk at 6.00 AM!! We woke up to their talking at 7AM and a few of us headed off for the gym (JuLee & Danica) while Ed sat by the pool, Dave slept in and Tong and Tham Fuan were still watching TV!

We had a great Thai buffet breaky, and now we're having some devotional, sharing and praying time. We will be heading off for the airport to fly off to Ubon Ratchathani in a few hours, where we will meet Mark Lim (our host) and will be driven to Surin to get to our hotel, and be briefed about what we will be up to for the next few days.

We are all excited, tired and ALIVE!

Praise God!

Continue to pray for us as we travel today, and begin our kids ministry very soon! Pray for journey's mercy as well as good health and that God would use us to minister to the people of the Mekong.

Keep reading the blog! God Bless,

Dave, Ed, Danica, JuLee, Tham Fuan & Tong

Hello Folks,

Thanks for the update and the photos!!!!!!! We'll be praying for you throughout. I'm a bit jealous that I can't join you guys for authentic Pad Thai, but I'm sure there will be a chance in the not too distant future!
