Why did you decide to go on the trip? As the pastor I hope my going will inspire
others to do the same, and to increase awareness on overseas missions in our
church.
What are you looking forward to about the trip? Meeting new people and serving
them. And getting to know the team members better.
What impact on yourself are you hoping for? Deeper relationship with the Lord
through seeing how Christians live for Him in the region.

Why did you decide to go on the trip? i decided to go on the trip to share the
good news of Jesus and bring his love to the people of the Mekong region. also,
i thought it a good time to challenge myself and stretch my faith.
What are you looking forward to about the trip? trying new things, meeting new
people, ministering to the kids
What impact on yourself are you hoping for? growing in God, and getting to know
Him better.

Why did you decide to go on the trip? Have always dreamt of going to the mission fields as a child...I felt that God was calling me to commit to this "dream" this year.
What are you looking forward to about the trip? Serving God in a new environment, meeting Christians serving in the Mission field and fostering closer friendships with my fellow mission team members.
What impact on yourself are you hoping for? To look at ministry and evangelism in a whole new light...and challenge my preconceptions about what being a missionary/working on the mission fields is all about!

Why did you decide to go on the trip? Initially we had never really thought that we'd have anything to offerwhen it came to missions because we don't have a medical or teachingbackground. However, after having attended a missions workshop by CNECPartners International at the Jumpstart 'Toolbox' conference two yearsago, God has shown us that we don't need to be doctors or teachers tobe involved in missions – there are many more roles that ordinarypeople can fill. We just need to have a willing heart and He can useall our skills and talents for His glory. Since then we've beenkeeping an eye out for short term mission trips but most ranged from 1to 6months which was a bit too long for us. So when we heard that ourchurch was organsing a two week mission trip we couldn't refuse.
What are you looking forward to about the trip? Meeting new people and working with children/youth. We also want tosee how God is working in the minority groups that we'll be visitingand experience how other cultures worship the same Almighty God. Wemay even learn from them and implement some new styles of worship whenwe come back! What impact on yourself are you hoping for? To have our faith stretched and have more boldness to live and love like Jesus.
